Utkarsh Kawatra

Utkarsh is one of the cofounders of BloodConnect. He is currently working on myHQ, his own start up which provides standardised spaces to people to work from. Prior to this, he was in the investment team at Helion (venture capital) and has had a stint in consulting with Opera Solutions. A graduate from IIT Delhi (Mathematics & Computing) 2013, he loves swimming and follows Arsenal FC.

Deepak

Deepak Goel

A 2008 IIT Delhi graduate, Deepak leads Shell Foundation (SF) work in India, supports the growth of social enterprises with the focus on amplifying social impact through the identification of new opportunities, partnerships and co-funding. Being the General Secretary (Student head) of NSS IIT Delhi (Social service wing of IITD), he was instrumental in establishing the blood donation culture in college and later BloodConnect.

Dr Sumanth Chinthala

Dr Sumanth Chinthala is an Assistant professor in the Water and Environment Division,Department of Civil Engineering at National Institute of Technology, Warangal. He has been associated with Bloodconnect foundation since 2010. He completed his Bachelor’s Degree from KITS Warangal in 2007. He received his both Masters and Ph.D Degree in the stream of Environmental Engineering, Department of Civil Engineering IIT Delhi.

Anisha

Anisha Khandelwal

Anisha, a Senior Software Engineer at Tech Mahindra and a B.Tech graduate from Heritage Institute of Technology, is deeply passionate about social impact, with blood donation being a cause close to her heart. Associated with BloodConnect since 2016, she served as India President in 2020 and has continued contributing as a board member since 2021. She plays an instrumental role in strategic decision-making and focuses on driving mass awareness, believing it is the key to a blood-sufficient India.

Aachran Jain

Aachran Jain

Aachran, Consultant – HSE Advisory at WSP Global, has been deeply committed to making India self-sufficient in blood supply since 2014. His journey began with the Youth Red Cross club, where he first got involved in community service. Over time, he went on to organize large-scale blood donation drives that have helped save over 1,000 lives—including those from Pakistan and Bangladesh. In recognition of his impactful efforts, he received a certificate of appreciation. Today, Aachran continues to pursue this mission on a national scale through BloodConnect, working with dedication and purpose to strengthen the country’s blood donation system.

Manasi

Manasi Shakya

Manasi, a Management Consulting Analyst at Accenture Strategy and an MBA graduate from DMS, IIT Delhi, is currently based in Delhi. She has been actively involved with BloodConnect since 2020, playing a pivotal role during the COVID-19 response. She served as the President of BloodConnect India from 2023 to Q1 2025. At present, she is deeply engaged in team building, mentorship, and strengthening volunteer engagement, with a vision to expand BloodConnect’s footprint to new cities and foster greater community involvement in this life-saving cause.

Sunny

Arbaz Sunny

Sunny, a post-graduate in Political Science from the University of Delhi, resides in Agra, Uttar Pradesh. He has been a member of the BloodConnect Foundation since 2016, contributing to our mission of promoting blood donation. Since 2012, he has also engaged in various social responsibilities and serves as an optional subject teacher (Political Science) and content developer for humanities subjects for state civil services aspirants.

Vishesh

Vishesh Kukreja

Vishesh, a management consultant at Miebach Consulting with an MBA from IIM Mumbai, is based in Gurgaon. Since 2019, he has been an active contributor to the BloodConnect Foundation, taking on multiple leadership roles across the Operations and Awareness Teams. He has continuously mentored and guided young volunteers, driving the mission forward. Currently, he is spearheading CSR collaborations, developing strategies to bring together organizations in support of this life-saving cause, with the vision of making India blood-sufficient.

Harshit

Harshit Gupta

Harshit Gupta is an engineer by education, but his heart beats for social service and entrepreneurship. Hailing from Sitapur, Harshit has carved a unique path that blends purpose with passion. When he's not brainstorming business ideas, you'll probably find him trekking through nature or volunteering for community initiatives that matter. His dedication to social work has even earned him recognition at the highest levels—most notably, an appreciation from the Governor of Uttar Pradesh for his role as a voluntary blood donor and for organizing large-scale blood donation camps. Harshit continues to inspire those around him through his actions and commitment to making a difference.
